Alexandria Custom Remodel & Addition

A fully redesigned HVAC system built to support a complete home transformation with multi-level comfort control and modern ventilation planning.

This 2025 remodel and addition project required a carefully engineered HVAC solution capable of integrating new construction performance into an existing home layout. Advantage Service Group managed the entire design-build process, including engineered load calculations, custom HVAC drawings, and all required permitting as a licensed Class A Mechanical contractor.

The Foundation of a Modern Remodel HVAC System

Complete design-build engineering

Every aspect of the HVAC system was designed specifically for the 1,400 sq. ft. remodeled and expanded home to ensure balanced airflow, proper equipment sizing, and long-term comfort performance.

High-efficiency Goodman heat pump system

The project included one complete Goodman heat pump HVAC system designed to provide reliable year-round heating and cooling with energy-efficient operation.

Custom sheet-metal ductwork fabrication

ASG designed and installed custom sheet-metal ductwork with insulated branch ducts to improve airflow consistency, reduce energy loss, and support quiet system operation.

EMC zoning integration

The system included EMC zoning controls to independently condition the first and second floors, helping maintain even temperatures throughout the home.

Multi-level comfort management

By separating airflow control between floors, the zoning system helps eliminate common hot and cold spot issues often found in remodel and addition projects.

Designed for remodel integration

Because remodels often involve unique structural and airflow challenges, the system was engineered to blend efficiently with both the original home and newly added spaces.
