Prince William County Luxury Custom Home
A fully engineered variable-capacity HVAC system designed to deliver precise comfort control across more than 8,500 square feet of custom living space.
This 2026 new construction project required a large-scale HVAC design capable of supporting advanced zoning, high-performance airflow management, and the ventilation demands of a luxury custom home. Advantage Service Group handled the complete design-build process, including engineered load calculations, custom HVAC drawings, and all required county permitting as a licensed Class A Mechanical contractor.
The Foundation of A Luxury HVAC System
Complete design-build engineering
Every HVAC component was engineered specifically for the 8,516 sq. ft. home to ensure balanced airflow, accurate equipment sizing, and dependable long-term performance.
Three Trane variable communicating systems
The home was equipped with three complete Trane variable communicating HVAC systems designed to deliver advanced temperature control, higher efficiency, and quieter operation throughout the property.
Variable-capacity comfort technology
Unlike traditional single-stage systems, variable communicating equipment continuously adjusts output based on real-time demand, helping maintain steady indoor temperatures with greater energy efficiency.
Advanced Trane Link zoning integration
Two of the systems were paired with Trane Link zoning products, allowing different areas of the home to maintain independent comfort settings for more personalized climate control.
Whole-home zoning strategy
The zoning design helps eliminate uneven temperatures across large living spaces while improving system responsiveness and reducing unnecessary energy usage.
Commercial-grade ventilation planning
ASG designed and installed custom sheet-metal duct systems with insulated branch ducts to improve airflow performance, reduce energy loss, and support long-term durability.
